Prices - lessons start at £20 for 30 minutes, £25 for 45 minutes and £30 for an hour - all located in North Bristol where Nick can offer complimentary refreshments, singing exercises using up-to-date equipment, backing tracks, a microphone and PA system. Nick can also travel but this will typically cost an extra £15 per session.

Special Offers

  • Silver - get your first 70 minute introductory lesson for £25 including a friendly chat to ease you into it and some complimentary refreshments - get it as a present and Nick can send you a special voucher.

  • Gold(4) - this is four 45 minute sessions for £90 in advance - a great way to ease into singing or learn some useful techniques and a great gift for someone with a special voucher.

  • Gold(6) - pay for five lessons and get the sixth lesson absolutely free.

  • Platinum - record a demo track for £200 or even have a single released on iTunes for £450 - what a great way to launch your voice to the world.

  • Finding the right backing track - where to get the best instrumental version of the song that suits you and picking the key.

  • Performing live - how to get a gig and tricks of performing live.

  • Create your own song - you can have help to write your own song or help arranging a tune you love but would like to perform in your own distinctive way (think Radio 1 live lounge).

  • Recording a demo - how to record a great demo and which of our London contacts to send it to.

  • Record a single and have it released on iTunes - this special offer is available for talent we identify as having real potential and we organise the whole process from recording through to release.

How it works

StarSinging is run by the experienced singer, songwriter and performer Nick Langston who offers private one-to-one lessons or group sessions.  Nick can offer:

  • Supportive and friendly singing teaching with vocal exercises.
  • Access to a wide range of backing tracks.
  • Songwriting software where any song can be programmed into a PC and then transposed into any key to suit your voice - the chord charts and the instrumental recording can be given to you - perfect for practising at home.
  • Access to a number of top musicians based in Bristol and around the UK.
  • Recording facilities in terms of immediate live recording, studio recording or video recording.
  • Nick is an experienced guitarist and can offer backing on guitar if required.

About Nick

Nick Langston is an experienced singer, songwriter and performer.  The last two years have been extremely busy for Nick who released his critically-acclaimed album 'Captivated' (available on Amazon, iTunes and other leading retailers) and had high-profile performances in the UK and abroad including his headline performance of 'The Great American Songbook' at The American Museum and his two appearances at Glastonbury's 40th.  He has also performed at cast parties for major West End productions and he can be often found playing venues in his home town of Bristol - The Old Duke, Colston Hall and the Harbour Festival to name a few.

His specialisms are jazz, blues and pop but he also loves and has experience of many other styles from soul to rock.

He is a qualified teacher (BEd in Business Education) and has been teaching both guitar and vocals for a number of years. He is also a DJ on GlossFM.  Nick is used to working with all ages and abilities in a supportive and friendly manner and has been 'CRB checked'.
